The Test Rod is a Stage 6 Fishing Rod obtainable via a set of quests from Buildaroo at the Underground Music Venue.
Test Rod Description The Test Rod has strong Lure speed and luck, but low control and resilience, making the player have to either be skilled with moving the bar or take advantage of certain Enchantments to keep the fish in the control bar.
The Test Rod has a very low 5% chance to catch the Lightning mutation. This is the only other way to obtain this mutation other than during a Zeus Storm.
